In fact, you can lean forward and the winds will hold you up, needless to say dresses and skirts for the ladies is not advised, nor is anything that can get carried and swept away.
The Punchbowl Crater is also something that people should take the time out of their schedule to see, as it is one of the most relaxing sites that the island of Oahu has to offer. This is the site of the World War II Memorial and Cemetery and is located on an extinct volcano that has been extinct even before the islands of Hawaii were developed. Another great free destination to see when you travel to Hawaii is the USS Arizona. This is one of the most important historical pieces in Hawaii history and is significant to the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The free tickets are on a first come, first serve basis, however, it is well worth putting in the effort in order to take the tour then to go on the observation deck that is sitting directly over the sunken USS Arizona. In fact, it is rumored that if you listen closely you can hear the ghosts of those that lost their lives on the USS Arizona during that horrific attack on Pearl Harbor.
